Summary
One ShopIQ account is intended for one merchant or business. One website is supported per account. If a merchant wants to manage multiple businesses or create multiple websites, they need separate accounts for each business or website.
Who this is for: Merchants who operate more than one brand, store, business, or website and want to understand account structure in ShopIQ.
Can I manage multiple businesses from one account?
One ShopIQ account is intended for one merchant or business. A single account should be used for one business identity and one ecommerce website. If a merchant wants to manage multiple businesses, each business should have its own ShopIQ account.
Can I create multiple websites in one account?
No. One website is supported per account. If a merchant needs more websites, they need separate accounts. This helps keep catalog, orders, customers, payments, domains, settings, analytics, and team access separate for each business.
Can I run two brands under one account?
If both brands operate as part of the same ecommerce website and business workflow, the merchant may organize them through categories, collections, or branding sections where appropriate. However, if the brands need separate websites, separate domains, separate customers, separate payments, or separate operations, they should use separate ShopIQ accounts.
Can I manage different product categories in one account?
Yes. A merchant can sell multiple physical product categories in one ShopIQ account if they belong to the same business and website. For example, a lifestyle brand may sell apparel, accessories, and home decor in one store.
Can partners manage multiple client accounts?
Yes. ShopIQ partners can manage multiple clients through their partner dashboard. Each client should still have their own merchant account and store setup.
Does each account need its own subscription?
Yes. Each ShopIQ account or website requires its own subscription according to the selected plan. AI credits, connected app allowances, billing, and limits apply separately to each account.
Merchants with multiple businesses should keep accounts separate to avoid mixed orders, mixed customer data, payment confusion, and reporting errors.
