AI credits may be consumed when WhatsApp workflows use AI for tasks such as:

Third-party WhatsApp provider charges may apply separately.
Do connected WhatsApp apps consume AI credits?
No. Connecting or using a third-party WhatsApp app does not automatically consume AI credits. However, the third-party provider may have its own pricing, message fees, subscription charges, or usage limits. Each third-party app counts as a connected app under the merchant's ShopIQ plan.
What happens if AI credits run out?
If AI credits run out, AI-powered workflows stop working. The merchant will not be able to use AI Chat or AI-powered tasks until more credits are added. However, the website, hosting, orders, payments, manual dashboard access, manual product editing, manual content updates, and core commerce operations continue to work. Merchants can buy additional credits from Settings → Credits.
Do subscription credits expire?
Yes. Subscription credits expire at the end of the billing cycle. Separately purchased credits roll over and do not expire until used.
Can I use WhatsApp without AI credits?
Merchants can use non-AI WhatsApp workflows and connected WhatsApp apps without AI credits, depending on the configured setup. However, AI-powered WhatsApp tasks require available AI credits.
