Can implementation partners use GitHub or Vercel?

Standard merchants are hosted on ShopIQ Cloud by default and cannot deploy to their own GitHub, Vercel, AWS, GCP, Azure, or custom cloud through the standard merchant offering.

Can implementation partners use GitHub?
Yes. Implementation Partners can deploy through their own GitHub or the client's GitHub where supported. This gives partners more flexibility when building and managing websites for clients. For example, a website development agency that is part of the ShopIQ Implementation Partner Program may onboard a client and manage the deployment using its own GitHub workflow.
Can implementation partners use Vercel?
Yes. Implementation Partners can host on their own or client's Vercel setup where supported. This is useful for partners who already use Vercel as part of their development and deployment process.
Can standard merchants use their own GitHub or Vercel?
No. Standard merchants cannot deploy their ShopIQ website to their own GitHub or host on their own Vercel through the standard merchant offering. Standard merchant websites are hosted on ShopIQ Cloud by default.
Can standard merchants use AWS, GCP, Azure, or custom cloud?
No. Standard merchants cannot connect their own AWS, GCP, Azure, DigitalOcean, or custom cloud through the standard merchant offering. Standard merchant websites are hosted on ShopIQ Cloud.
Can implementation partners use AWS, GCP, or custom cloud?
No. Even for Implementation Partners, the supported deployment flexibility is around GitHub and Vercel where supported. Custom AWS, GCP, Azure, DigitalOcean, or other cloud deployment is not part of the standard ShopIQ offering.
Why does ShopIQ use ShopIQ Cloud for standard merchants?
ShopIQ Cloud helps reduce technical complexity for merchants. Merchants do not need to manage servers, deployment, databases, cloud storage, DevOps, hosting setup, infrastructure monitoring, production environments, or development environments. This allows merchants to focus on business operations instead of technical setup.
Does using ShopIQ Cloud affect domain ownership?
No. The merchant still owns their domain separately. Domains are purchased outside ShopIQ and can be connected from Settings using DNS records such as A Record and CNAME Record.
Hosting and deployment options depend on account type. Merchants who need custom deployment should discuss requirements with ShopIQ before onboarding.
