Summary
Accounts may become suspended after unsuccessful renewal attempts followed by the grace period. During suspension, the ecommerce infrastructure is unavailable until the subscription is renewed.
Who this is for: Merchants whose subscription has expired.
What happens before suspension?
If automatic payment fails, ShopIQ retries payment three times. If payment still fails, the subscription is cancelled and the account enters a 30-day grace period.
What happens after the grace period?
If the subscription is still not renewed after the grace period, the following services stop: website, hosting, database, cloud storage, dashboard access, and AI services.
Can customers place orders?
No. Once the website becomes unavailable, customers cannot browse or place orders.
How do I restore everything?
Renew the subscription. If you were onboarded through an Implementation Partner, contact the partner. Otherwise contact ShopIQ Support.
Will my domain be affected?
No. Your domain remains yours because it was purchased separately from your domain registrar. You simply reconnect it once the store becomes active again.
Suspension affects ShopIQ services, not ownership of your business assets such as your domain. Renew before the grace period ends to minimize downtime.
