Can partners deploy using GitHub or Vercel?

Summary

Yes. Implementation Partners can deploy using their own GitHub or the client's GitHub and host on their own or client's Vercel setup where supported. This deployment flexibility is available for Implementation Partners. Standard merchants are hosted on ShopIQ Cloud by default.

Who this is for: Implementation partners, agencies, developers, and merchants who want to understand partner deployment flexibility.

Can partners deploy using GitHub?

Yes. Implementation Partners can use their own GitHub or the client's GitHub where supported. This allows partners to manage development and deployment workflows for client websites in a more flexible way.

Can partners host on Vercel?

Yes. Implementation Partners can host on their own or the client's Vercel setup where supported. This is useful for agencies or development teams that already use Vercel as part of their deployment workflow.

Is this available to standard merchants?

No. Standard merchants are hosted on ShopIQ Cloud by default. Standard merchants cannot deploy their ShopIQ website to their own GitHub, Vercel, AWS, GCP, Azure, DigitalOcean, or custom cloud through the standard merchant offering. ShopIQ manages hosting, database, storage, deployment, and infrastructure for standard merchants.

Can partners use AWS, GCP, Azure, or custom cloud?

No. Even for Implementation Partners, the supported deployment flexibility is around GitHub and Vercel where available. AWS, GCP, Azure, DigitalOcean, or other custom cloud deployment is not part of the standard ShopIQ partner offering.

Does partner deployment affect client ownership?

Deployment setup should be agreed clearly between the partner and client. If the client's GitHub or Vercel account is used, the client may have more direct control over those environments. If the partner's GitHub or Vercel account is used, the partner should clearly explain access, ownership, handover, and continuity terms.

Does partner deployment affect domain setup?

The merchant still owns the domain separately. Domains are purchased from a domain provider and can be mapped using DNS records. The deployment setup and domain ownership should be documented clearly in the partner-client agreement.

Deployment flexibility is available for Implementation Partners, not standard merchant accounts. Merchants should discuss technical ownership, hosting access, GitHub access, Vercel access, handover, and ongoing support with the partner before launch.
